Welgevonden Game Reserve is a 36,000ha private game reserve in the Waterberg District of Limpopo Province. Nestled within the internationally recognised UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, it is one of the most accessible premier, malaria-free big five wilderness reserves in South Africa. Located 2.5 hours drive from Johannesburg, the reserve features 20 commercial lodges and diverse wildlife including elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard.
